John Stephen Dale

It is with great sadness that I (belatedly) inform you of the passing of former member John S. Dale, on 21st July 2024, three months away from his 75th birthday, in Durham Hospital after a long fight with cancer.

John had been a member of ACWS from 2010 until 2015, first in the 4th Texas, then the 43rd North Carolina and finally, the Rockbridge Artillery. John also re-enacted many other period impressions.

The ACWS family express our deepest and most sincere condolences to his family at this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

John leaves yet another vacant chair.
